Today began with an 8:15 gathering to head for breakfast ... and that is only going to get earlier as the week goes on!
After breakfast we made our way over to the Project Hall ... not a big hurry, there was all day to set up the projects, and most of our projects didn't take very much time at all. A few were more involved in setup. All in all, setup of the projects went without any issues.
After lunch, most of the team headed off for either a campus tour or just general free time, playing some more pool, or a game of soccer in the sports fields behind our residence. Unfortunately one crisis to be worked on was the fact that Yajur's project bag was lost by Air Canada, and did not arrive. With no sign of the project by lunch time, we sent his backup files out for printing and after a quick run to the office store we will be able to recreate the project tomorrow.
In the afternoon we gathered again to go by bus into Charlottetown for the Opening Ceremonies. It was a great event with good food, musical entertainment, local dancing, comedy, and even some short dance performances by some of the Canada-Wide students themselves... including a very short improv performance by TeamBASEF's own Erik and Arjuna (sorry, didn't get any pictures of that!)
After that it was a ride back to residence, a little bit of chilling time, and off to bed for everyone - tomorrow is the first public viewing (starting with School tours in the morning), and various events for the rest of the day. And a 7:30am start for breakfast!
