Team BASEF gathered at Toronto's Pearson Airport for the trip to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. There was waiting, then standing in line, then waiting, then another line, then some more waiting ...
But all in all the time went quickly, and in no time at all we were walking down the stairs onto the tarmac at the Charlottetown airport. A quick bus ride later, and we arrived at the spacious University of PEI Campus. By the time we settled in our rooms everyone was getting pretty hungry, and so the team went on a nice walk that ended up at the Boston Pizza outlet - a nice dinner, and by the time we were back at campus (after you take into account the one hour time change!) it was past 11:00pm.
Some quick instructions in the residence lounge, and off to bed ... tomorrow is project setup day!
